Slow Cooker Coq au Vin
Chicken breasts - cut up
Red wine
Chicken stock (check ingredients carefully as some stock and bouillion contains dairy and wheat gluten)
Onions - chopped
Carrots - chopped
Other vegetables of your preference
1 tsp thyme
1-2 tbsp plain gluten free flour
1) Brown the chicken in a frying pan and then put it in the slow cooker. Place the vegetables on top.
2) stir the flour and the herbs into the chicken stock and add equal quantities of wine and chicken stock (and make sure you have made enough to cover all the food in the slow cooker)
3) Cook on low for about 8 hours.
