Fruit Skewers or Fruit Straws - great for party food!
Fruit of your choice e.g strawberries, bananas, pineapple, raspberries, peaches,apricots
Dairy-free chocolate
Optional - a free from cream e.g Oatly cream
Fruit Skewers
1) push bite sized pieces of fruit onto a skewer
2) brush the fruit with maple syrup.
3) put under the grill and cook till the syrup caramalises.
4) melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of boiling water and either drizzle it over the fruit or serve it in a bowl for dipping (you can stir some free-from cream into the chocolate dip to make it creamier if you like).
Fruit Straws
1) cut the fruit into bite size pieces.
2) Use a metal skewer to push holds into each piece of fruit.
3) thread the fruit onto a straw
4) now make a warm chocolate dip. Melt the dairy-free chocolate in a bowl over a pan of boiling water (and add some free from cream if you prefer). Serve it warm!
