Free - from Toffee Sauce

Ingredients:
You need:
3oz light brown muscovado sugar
3oz dairy-free spread e.g Pure sunflower spread
100ml of a free-from milk e.g Oat, Rice or Soya milk
Method:
Step 1 - mix all ingredients in a saucepan
Step 2 - Slowly bring to the boil
Step 3 - Once ingredients are melted reduce heat to a simmer.
Step 4 - stir frequently for 20-25minutes and stir well in the last 5 minutes till dark in colour.
Step 5 - Serve! lovely on free-from ice cream sundaes or for dipping fruit in etc. can be stored in fridge where it will thicken.
