Chocolate Tart (dairy,egg,soya free)

This is a yummy dessert and kids love it -especially if they are on a restricted diet. Ingredients: 1 Pastry shell (i use dairy-free frozen shortcrust pastry). 315ml/11fl oz Oatly cream or similar. 2 tablespoons caster sugar. 115g / 4oz stork vegetable margarine or similar. 450g / 1Ib dairy/soya free chocolate. 100ml rice or oat milk (we use oatly). cocoa powder (optional).
Method 1. For the pastry you can either buy a shell if u can find one, or buy frozen pastry like jus-rol and bake it blind - it must be cooked first. 2. put the oatly cream and the sugar in a pan and bring to boil - then remove from the heat. 3. add the butter and the chocolate and stir till both have melted. 4. allow to cool slightly then stir the cold milk. 5. allow to cool a bit more then whisk in a little extra cold milk 6. put mixture into the cooked pastry shell and cool for at least an hour at room temperature 7. to improve the look, you can dust it with cocoa powder using a sieve. 8. you can serve at room temperature or straight from the fridge - we prefer the latter! Hope someone tries it and enjoys it. Kx
