Chocolate Chip Flapjacks - dairy free
Makes 12-15
150g rolled oats
100g soft brown sugar
75g dairy / soya free margarine
50gm golden syrup
handful of dark chocolate chips (dairy free) or cut your own preferred chocolate into chunks.
1) Mix the oats and sugar in a bowl.
2) Put the margarine and syrup into a saucepan and melt over a low heat.
3) Remove from the heat and add the oats and sugar to the saucepan and mix thoroughly. Throw in the chocolate chips / chunks.
4) Transfer to a greased baking tin and push the flapjack mixture down.
5) Bake at 180c for 20-30minutes until golden brown. Adjust the cooking time depending on whether you like it crunchier or softer texture.
