Chewy Apricot Oat Bars - free from dairy, egg, soya and wheat

225g (8oz) dried apricots
150g (5oz) dried figs
150ml (5floz) orange juice
225g (8oz) porridge oats
50g (2oz) pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds
50g (2oz) sesame seeds
1) Preheat oven to 180c (gas mark 4). Grease and line a 20cm / 8 inch square baking tin.
2) Place the apricots and figs in a pan with the orange juice and warm through. Leave it to soak for 10 minutes.
3) Place mixture in a food processor and process till a stiff puree forms.
4) Mix in the rest of the ingredients. Then spoon the mixture into the baking tin and bake in the oven for 25minutes. Leave to cool slightly the cut into slices.
Cool completely before removing from the tin. Store in the fridge.
