Banana Flapjacks

Great in lunchboxes or as a snack! Ingredients 80g brown sugar. 100g pure margarine. 250g oats. 1 banana (or 2 depending on whether you mix the banana into the mixture or spread it throughout the middle of the flapjack). 2 tablespoons honey (some people use golden syrup).
Instructions 1. Melt the Pure Margarine in saucepan over a low heat 2. add the sugar and 2 tablespoons of honey and stir well. 3. stir in the oats. 4. Mash up the banana. You can either stir 1 banana into the mixture above and then move it to a greased tin/tray. Alternatively, you can use 2 bananas and put half the flapjack mixture into a tin, spread the bananas over the top and then put the other half of the flapjack mixture over the top. 5. smooth with a knife and place in preheated oven (gas mark 5 or 220c) and bake for 15minutes. check regularly to prevent overcooking. 6. leave to stand for a few minutes then cut into portions.
