Recipe 1:
1 cup Plain Flour.
1/2 teaspoon B-Carb Soda (Baking Soda).
2 teaspoons Baking Powder.
1/4 teaspoon Salt.
2 Tablespoons Sugar.
1 cup oat/rice Milk.
1.5 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil.
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Essence.
Recipe 2:
1 cup all-purpose flour.
1 teaspoon sugar.
1 teaspoon cinnamon.
2 teaspoons baking powder.
1 cup oat/rice milk.
1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
1 tablespoon water.
1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
2 tablespoons dairy-free butter.
Method for Recipe 1:
Sift flour and baking soda/powder and salt. Add sugar. Add Vanilla and Oil and half the milk. Whisk together. Slowly add the rest of milk until thickened. Put vegetable oil in frying pan and heat (needs to be quite hot). Cook both sides.
Method for Recipe 2:
Combine dry ingredients and mix. Add milk, oil, water, and vanilla and whisk together. Don't over-mix and allow to rest for a few minutes. Melt the butter in a pan and stir into the batter. Then pour a small amount of batter into pan and cook both sides till golden brown
