This guidance document may be helpful for parents trying to understand M.E as well as for young people who have been diagnosed with this condition.
The explanation of ME is simple and symptoms, diagnosis and treatment is all explained. Medication options are discussed but there is also information on diet and supplements, sleep, rest and relaxation, equipment needed, continuing work and education and the role of complementary medicine. Therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural therapy and Graded Exercise therapy are also described.
