So it's not been the best of weeks. I then get a phone call friday afternoon from the school asking me to pick Iz up as they think she has impetigo. They were right!
She'd had a sore on the corner of her mouth for nearly a week but I put it down to the steroids and being run down. Saw the practice nurse who wasn't sure but the dr came in and said definately impetigo. So now got both kids on flucloxacillin. She is also looking quite moon faced from the steroids. Typical when the school photographer is due friday.
She seems better but one sore is still oozy so she is not best pleased to be off school tomorrow. Got Ben at the optician as he keeps rubbing his eyes. Both kids under the community eye service as I am blind as a bat but they couldn't see him so my fab optician to the rescue.
Not a clue what is going on with Ben. Still no decent poo since we were in hospital weds night when they said he was constipated. Despite increasing the movicol we keep getting the odd bit if poo. Not like him at all. he is constantly complaining of pain and asking for calpol. I wonder if the tube is pushing on his ribs as a lot of the pain seems positional.
The dietician was concerned that given his meds and being J fed he was constipated so was going to speak to GOS. we shall see what they say.
Physio tues to look at the hypermobility. got a letter confirming 1.5 hours funding for nursery.
Fingers crossed for a better week!
