It's not been easy!

Hi
Just wondered if anyone else has found being a parent of a sick child quite tough?
I was in a bit of a dreamworld throughout my first pregnancy and never considered that my son may have health problems.
From the moment he was born he had many health problems including: he was born prematurely with feeding problems and severe jaundice. He then needed surgery for pyloric stenosis and developed repetitive urinary tract infections. He also had severe gastro reflux and projectile vomited and cried all the time.
He hardly ever slept and was in and out of hospital. We now know he has Eosinophilic disease too. His brother was born 2 years later with some of the same problems. He too cried day and night and hardly slept. He also had food allergies.
I have been through ups and downs but have found the downs really tough- i've felt very lonely as i don't know anyone with similar problems. Moving twice made it hard too as I had to keep trying to make new friends. Despite this, i woudln't change my sons for the world.
I just wish there had been more support and less errors made by the medical profession. Hope I'm not the only one who has found it tough?
