Many children with gut conditions may have extra toileting needs and it can be embarrassing for them to keep asking the teacher in front of peers to use the toilet, and supply teachers may also not be aware of a childs extra needs. We have produced these cards so that children can discretely pass one to a teacher when they need to go or have had an accident and that this will be enough for the child to be allowed to leave the classroom. It may also help some children with speech and communication difficulties.
