Back to GOS
Submitted by helenb8man on Thu, 05/14/2009 - 19:00.We are back to GOS on monday and I am getting myself nicely wound up about it this time. Have usually already got my list of questions done by now but not sure where to begin this time.
The steroids have had little impact. I would say he is complaining of a bit less pain but that has also coincided with him eating less.
He is definately better having the continuous feed in the morning but it means he is less hungry for lunch. It is a relative thing as he doesn't eat much anyway but not sure what we can do. We have stopped the bisuits and he is having rice cakes instead as his "treat".
He hasn't gained any weight at all on the steroids and weighs what he did nearly 18 months ago so am sure GOS won't be happy about that.
His delayed gut emptying means it is difficult to get more in him.
Last time we were told they'd consider putting his feed into his bowel if things didn't improve. Not what we want at all.
WIll let you know how it goes.
