Wow!!

Wow what a fab day we've had today!  I want to say a big thank you to Crafty Chefs for holding their free Allergy Free Afternoon Tea Party this afternoon.  It was held in Haslemere, Surrey.

It was the first time in years that my boys have been somewhere with food, that they didn't have to check the ingredients in everything and that they didn't have to eat different food to everyone else!  They had so much fun that even my son, who hates getting mucky hands and rarely joins in, had a go at the cooking! He made biscuits, decorated cupcakes and helped make ricecakes with bananas and honey! 

We also met a lovely family with similar health problems to our own and it was really nice to know we aren't the only ones!

We bought some fun cooking equipment and hope to have a go at home - their recipe book has some good recipes for kids with multiple food intolerances or allergies.

The event was really lovely and it must have cost the company owners a lot in time and money - so thank you Crafty Chefs!  We hope to come to another one!
