New gluten free breakfast cereals from Nature's Path

Nature’s Path have recently launched two new gluten free and dairy free cereals – Gluten Free Munch and Gluten Free O’s. Parentsown were lucky enough to be sent some to try out and our experts taste testers – aged 7 and 5 were on hand to give them their opinion (we tried them too).
First impressions were that the boxes were fun because of the little characters used on them and the cereals quickly got referred to as the "squirrel cereal" and the "hedgehog cereal".
Box admiration out of the way we all tucked in
for the all important taste test.
The Munch cereal was the biggest hit and got extra marks for not going soggy in the milk (which lots of regular cereals do)!
The O’s also got a thumbs up as they looked like other cereals on the market and so our special testers felt they were having the same as other children (which is really important).
If your children are used to sweet cereals, the O’s may need a sprinkling of sugar though as they aren’t sweet. Or you could use sweetened milk. But that of course is down to personal preference.
Both of these cereals hold their crunch well so can be used in sweet recipes too – like rocky road or chocolate crispy cakes. We tried out the ‘Really Rocky Road by Nature’s Path' recipe, from the Crafty Chefs new recipe book ‘The Cookbook’ and it was an all round hit!
If you want some fun cereals that are gluten free that are genuinely tasty and really crunchy then the new Munch and O's from Nature's Path are fantastic, and judging by the speed at which the boxes were emptied we'll no doubt be stocking up...
