Give your views in the Edinburgh University parent and carer wellbeing survey

parentsown.co.uk have been contacted by Fleur-Michelle Coiffait - Trainee Clinical Psychologist at the University of Edinburgh asking us to promote their research.
The project really struck a chord with us as we feel that the effect on the parents and carers of children with medical conditions is often overlooked and so any research that can give more insight in to this area is really worthwhile.
They are looking to understand more about the process of adapting to having a child with profound and multiple disabilities and how psychologists and other professionals may be able to support this.
The research project has had ethical approval from the School of Health in Social Science at the University of Edinburgh and is being supervised by Dr Helen Downie and Dr Karen McKenzie.
As their survey states the online survey contains different questions, which should take around 30 minutes to complete in total. There are no right or wrong answers --what they would like to get to the bottom of is what people think and how they feel.
Importantly, all your answers will be anonymous and you will not be identifiable.
So if you have/look after a child with a disability/disabilities please take a look at the survey and if you feel able, fill it in. The more feedback they can get the more they can understand and ultimately this may help future care.
