Day Seven 15 hrs to go
Well, day 7 now and boy i cannot wait until tomorrow dinner. As i didn't really start until after work on Monday ( i just didn't eat or have milk last monday at work), i don't finish until after work tomorrow, boo!!! Jumped out of bed this morning with a grumbling tummy, no such luck though so had to resort to ducolax. This has possibly been the worst feeling all week, i simply do not normally have that problem. No wonder the kids just want to lay around when constipated it is not a pain i am used to.
I had a breakfast feed this morning to give me a bit of a wake up to get on and make a start on the usual pre-move stuff, empty garage, throw out clothes and generally run around like an idiot for 4 or 5 weeks. Went shopping by myself today whilst everyone was tidying. Now that was a battle of will power. I was walking around a well known supermarket, and my mind kept saying " Go on, have something no one will notice", luckily i resisted!!
Have only manged about 1200ml today as the stomach pains are really stopping me drinking it. I thought i had a good understanding of the children'sa diet, i had no idea at all. Now i do understand the restrictive foods and the medications, the elemental has always baffled me. i have to admit, i think mostly the elemental works but like anything with EGID it has side effects. I have drank less over the weekend due to my guts, however, my headache has disappeared. I was initially surprised by the speed that the feed wore off, but over the week it has only been really late in the day it has been noticeable. The hardest thing about it has to be the taste. But i don't want to dwell on that as i still have 750ml to go at work tomorrow.
Things i have noticed today:
1. Chavs like to wobble around Tesco on a Sunday
2. My good suit fits me again
3. Ducolax doesn't work as quick as i thought!!!
4. I don't have many clothes, unless i get a posting to the Bahamas!!
